Maktab Sains's Science Fair were held for two days, i.e. on 6th March and 7th March 2007. It was held in the college's Auditorium. Various exhibits and science experiments-demonstrations were held of which were conducted but our own MS students.
Our own Principal testing out one of the demonstration on chromatography.
This experiment is to show students that once these glasss-made apparatus were dipped into the special liquid, it disappears~!
Scientist guy : "The towel was soaked in water then in alcohol. The towel didn't burned because the water prevents it from burning, it's the alcohol that is being burned"
Scientist ladies: "You shouldn't eat mentos and drinks any fizzy drinks, the two will react with each other and produces lots of carbon dioxide, very dangerous to your body"
This is the most 'relax' part of the Science Fair. But lots of knowledge can be gain from this.
